About The Goodguys
“NEXT GENERATION” AWARD PRESENTED BY GOOSBY CUSTOMS
The Goodguys “Next Generation” Award presented by Goolsby Customs celebrates and showcases the accomplishments of car and truck builders 25 and under.
Created to encourage young builders to continue in the industry and to foster a field of talent which will sustain the hobby, the overall year-end Grand Prize Winner will receive prime placement in the Goodguys booth on Hot Rod Alley at the upcoming 2021 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

How To Enter
On the Saturday morning of the event you are attending, make sure to check-in and park in the “Next Generation” Special Area at the show. Upon checking in, you will be provided a card to fill-out to help inform our award selectors on the specifics of your build. Make sure to fill the card out completely and legibly and place on your dash for easy viewing. You are now officially part of the competition.
How Event Finalists Are Selected
If your vehicle is selected as one of the two semi-finalists for the event you are participating in, a Goodguys representative will notify you either in-person or by cell phone and provide you instructions on the next step, which will be to relocate your vehicle to a high-traffic staging area of the show where people can vote for their favorite of the two semi-finalists on social media (Facebook & Instagram). Both semi-finalists will need to return to the event the next morning and park their vehicles in the same staging area that they parked in on Saturday afternoon. Prior to the Goodguys Awards Ceremeony on Sunday afternoon, one “finalist” winner will be chosen based on a combination of social media voting and representatives from Goodguys & Goolsby Customs and they will be a part of the general Goodguys Awards Ceremony that same day. From all (19) individual event “finalist” winners, one Grand Prize Winner will be chosen to bring their build to the 2021 SEMA Show where it will be showcased amongst the work of the top builders in the world.
